This is my second Bosch cordless drill. Both have been great tools, and very reliable. I have a kit with the recipricating and circular saws, also the Job Box radio. I would like to see Bosch upgrade the radio to charge the new litheon ion batteries. However, the bluecore batteries have been trouble free for me, for 4 years now with heavy use. Often I'm boring 1 3/8" holes through rim joists that are up to 3" deep. I have also bought from CPO often. Bosch and Porter Cable to be precise. They are very nice, and the products arrive timely and as described.

I HAD to have the metal chuck. I specifically went out of my way because I couldn't bear to own a hammer drill that had a plastic chuck.
As the title suggests, this hammer drill is definitely one of the best on the market and I've got nothing but good feedback from anyone who has used it.
With the proper mason bit this motor will chew through anything, and sometimes I have to stop myself from drilling "extra" holes for fun. Do you use step bits? Be careful, because you may get carried away and drill a larger whole then you meant to.
On the downside, like a full size sport utility vehicle guzzles gas, this drill burns through it's batteries. I didn't list it as a Con because this is dependent on it's use. Constant drilling as opposed to periodic screw driving. Plus, there's always going to be a trade off between power and battery life, and since this drill comes with the 2 batteries, and a quick 30 minute charger, I've never stood around with a lifeless drill. Lithium Ion batteries may be the new trend, but this Ni-Cd drill will still impress and perform.
Another *slight* Con is that the grip on this drill is relatively large for my hands, I found myself adjusting my grip constantly because I found it to be a little wide. But once again, I didn't list it as a Con because I think the majority of guys out there have bigger hands than me and would probably find such a full grip comfortable and easy on their hands.
