One battery held a charge that lasted 3 full days driving screws all day on a siding job. The other battery with a full charge only drove 6 one inch screws. Not your fault, love the drill, it works good is very powerfull, and is first choice of my helper.

light use so far sheet rocked a small bath on one battery but I tried to mix a bucket of light wieght joint compound and it shut down so don't do that. I had a ridged 18v that would with no problem. I think its a safty feature so you don't burn up the motor. I bought reconed for [$] I think it was a good deal
