the main reason i bought this drill is because unlike most other cordless drills, its not made in china. the drill is great,plenty of power. after very little use over the past year, the charger just stopped working. bosch needs to have another manufacturer build thier chargers. the charger is "made in china". i think thats where the problem lies. i wouldnt reccomend this item simply because of the charger.

Was looking for a charger for my Bosch Brute Hammer Drill, and decided to get a new Drill instead. Now I have two drills, 4 batteries and a working charger. The compact touch is perfect for most jobs and has plenty of power. No need to carry around an 8 lb hammer drill all the time.
