I have used a DeWalt drill for several years and after reading the comments on this drill, I decided to try it. I was looking to buy a lithium ion battery powered drill but chose this one as the price was much better. I also chose this one as it has more torque than the 36V battery powered drill which I thought was unusual. I have no regrets on this purchase as this drill is tough as nails and will probably last quite a while.

I fell in love with the first one. It outlasted me while driving 2 3/4" tap cons into the basement walls. It was used hard for years and dropped many times and finally stopped working. I think it's just a trigger, but I treated myself to a new one. The old power packs still work great. I think it was money well spent.

I bought this for my father who loves the whole 18V line. Built half of the house with just these wireless tools and now he wanted a second set so that he would have a battery ready at all times. The bluecore batteries are indeed longer lasting (he has the 2.0Ah) and the upgrade to 2.4Ah is very much appreciated :))
There are some 3.0Ah aftermarket ones, maybe Bosch catches up with that :))
