I've thrown away more than a few r.o.s. that can't cut the mustard. Latest was a P.C. number whose sawdust collector would blow off and fill the shop with dust. Who designed that?? So far, this baby works like a real pro, and furthermore doesn't vibrate like the others.

I have had the normal run of the mill electric sanders and also been running the standard 5" air sanders. This sander is by far the best. Its smooth operation and power have greatly improved my production and quality of product.

Tremendous improvements in this newest version of Bosch's 5" RAS. The lower profile is appreciated and it is much easier to use this model for greater lengths of time. Also appreciate the softer pad below the hook and loop sandpaper surface which prevents potential gouge from having the sander improperly set in use.
