This Vacuum is flawless, it's suction power is immense. This is a superb vacuum when hooked up to sanders, etc., when you want zero dust in you work area. It is terrific in general clean up and wet vacuuming, bag changing is easy as a snap, and very clean and sanitary, and overall it performs and is built in the traditional German standard of excellence, a machine worth every penny!

Usually I use this with portable power-tools to collect dust before it has a chance to spread over a work-site. It's great for that. The auto-on feature means I only have to start a tool, ( a saw or router for instance) and the vacuum turns on automatically. It also runs for a few seconds after the tool stops to clean out the hose, thereby preventing dust-cake. The upright handle and "shopping-cart" wheel-configuration make it easy to move--- easier than my buddy's over-price festool vacuum. (especially going up stairs) In fact, the only thing the festool vacuum has over this Bosch is the anti-static hose. big deal... I made my hose anti-static in two minutes with 40 cents worth of electrical wire and some black-tape. When our basement flooded, this little sucker kept the water at bay for two hours until the plumber arrived. The machine just won't quit. Beats other vacuums, especially when you consider price. By the way--- this machine is very quiet; not appreciably louder than the expensive German things.
