I wouldn't hesitate to buy reconditioned again!
I purchase this reconditioned laser level because of the price, features and the reputation that Bosch has. I was not disappointed at all. I used it to install 3 suspended ceilings and this level made it so much easier when working by yourself!

Bosch-GLL-3-50
I recently entered a home improvement website contest . over the years of entering I have never won a thing ,much to my surprize ,I went to the door and the UPS man haad a package for me and WALLA it was a Bosch GLL3-50 three line lazer level . WOW , what a awesome tool . and much to my surprize it became one of my most dependable tools in the arsenal of layout tools ,. I helped a friend layout a new flooring system for a church floor . what a breeze it was after setting up the line lazer . every corner of that floor right on the money . thanks a million for such an awesome tool

Perfect For Metal Stud Framing
This is set up perfectly for metal stud framing. My only complaint is that the fine adjustment knob moves the unit too quickly.

Good product...not right for me....
Bought this laser for electrical light layout. I works perfectly, except the lines are a little to light for high ceilings in bright areas. I had to put it up on a 6' ladder to beam on a 10' ceiling and had to make sure the ambient light was dim. Just too restrictive for my needs. I will have to look at alternatives.

Great tool but hard to work with
Don't get me wrong. It is a nice toll......if you work on a perfect job side. It will help you a lot with it's great features......but you need to spend a lot of time to set it correctly. And this is every time you move it. It is simple. The tool levels itself but only up to 4 degree, which means that you need to approximate level it in front. BUT the manufacturer FORGOT to include some kind of LEVEL INDICATOR (bubble or something. So, if you don't use on the level surface, you spend a lot of time to level it each time you move it. And the extendable legs which should help you to level it are not with threads. They are extendable with tight-up nuts. Good luck to level this tool in a basement or on a ruff surface. It will work only if you can use it for a job that not require frequent move of the tool.

good ideas done wrong
got this at a tool sale. everything looked to be good, until I used it. Included tripod is a joke to level. mount on a normal tripod and the downward light is blocked, so you can't put it on a normal tripod and center it over a point. Accuracy is off, as much as 1/4" in 40'. Light is week, cant hardly see the light unless it is low light or dark. Even indoors, hard to see the light. Use the detector, but it is as poorly made. There seams to be gaps in the sensors, blinks to indicate to raise, raise the detector then blinking goes off. raise it a little more then blinks to indicate it needs lowered. finally center detector on the line then moved detector 6" to left and had a point 1" lower then the first point. Not possible to have two different elevation lines 6" apart. And this was done in the shade. Outside in the light, detector does not work much at all. this is a waste of money.

New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
