I weighed my options about purchasing the drills for the max chuck or converting my tool to a pro chuck. The surrondiing stores lacked the max bits so I bought the conversion to use the pro bits. The rotarty imapact drill is longer with the adapter but it works.

It is used on a daily basis drilling on average approximately 500 holes through concrete walls and slabs per day.
It saves us buying the more expensive SDS Max bits of which we use many.
It does not last as long as I expected it to and it also adds to the length of the drill which in some cases is not practical.
