I did not use the driver to drive "ground rods", but rather to drive steel stakes to secure concrete forms. I'm sure there are lots of other uses for it too.
It did the job in just 2-3 seconds per stake. No sledge hammer needed. Just mount the driver in my Bosch SDS Max Demolition Hammer. An awesome combination.
