Powerful tool for major projects including deck building, automotive applications. Extended use between battery charges. Battery charger is very straight-forward to use, unlike many others. I bought a chuck attachment, increasing quick versatility. One thing, this is a heavy tool and repeated horizontal use can be challenging.

I bought this impact initially to do repairs to production units on a make like production basis. Right out of the box it performed flawlessly. After a quick battery charge to get started, I ran a 10 hour shift on one fat pack battery. I even changed a flat tire on my car at lunch time, then changed all four wheels on my car after I got home from work and still had life in the battery. To save money, I opted for a reconditioned impact and so far I have no regrets. It looked and operated like a brand new tool. It fits nicely in the case and there is still room for one set each of deep and shallow sockets. After two weeks, I also bought an 18v Bosch drill to replace a tried and true but gracefully aging DeWalt so now I have two slim pack HC batteries to go with my fat packs. It's the best of both worlds, loads of power in a light weight package or the endurance of the fat pack if I need to use the tools non-stop for hours on end.
The best features: The power, the battery life, the belt clip when your hands are busy fitting or removing parts, the trigger control to safely start fasteners very slowly and carefully to ensure proper thread engagement before running them down. You don't get this kind of control with any air impact. Not that air tools don't have their place but I would never start fasteners on a production basis with an air impact because of the risk of cross threading and not knowing it before it's too late and the damage is done. With the cordless impact it is very easy to start fasteners at near zero torque with virtually no risk of damaging threads.
The more I use this tool, the more I like it. I have nothing bad to say about my DeWalt tools but they did not make a 3/8 square drive impact in the 20v lithium line when I was ready to buy so the win goes to Bosch on this one. My only regret is that my beloved 3/8 I.R. air impact just might find a place on the shelf with my old film cameras. Say it ain't so but the air line stays coiled up under the bench more than ever as the new "kid" takes over. Once you make the jump to cordless, it's hard to go back.

I fix cars for living and having a 3/8 cordless impact wrench saves me a lot of time, i've owned several brands of impacts and this guy is the best so far , its light and powerful, i have been using it for two weeks every day and all day long, still has not charged or used second battery, love it, little bolts, big bolts, lug nuts it does it all. Great buy.

I haven't had a chance to use the inpact much but find myself needing to loosen or tighten something constantly.
