I had previously used the Bosch 12V version and I'm glad I got this corded one. It is more powerful, way quieter, and will run as long as I need; the 12V batteries only run for 5 mins or so while continuously cutting. This tool feels heavy at first, but in a good way. I can see it being used a few times per week and lasting years.

Was thinking for the longest time, on the cordless and corded, glad I went with the cord, was reading up on other reviews, glad I went with the corded one. powerful and never quits, used it on some furniture I had built sandidng and cutting of some nail ends, this thing is easy to use and never stops, And it`s a Bosch.For my use it`s fine would have liked the newer model with the tooless blade changing system but this is great and a little cheaper.

So far so good. The 2.5 Amp Multi-X Oscillating Tool Kit with 33 Accessories by Bosch is a pretty good tool for making precise cuts. The blades are not as long lasting as I'd hoped, but otherwise the tool is efficient, light, and easy to use.

This tools versatility reminds me a lot of a router; with the right bit or blade, it can do anything.
I had first purchased the cordless version but quickly realized it was like buying a cordless hammer drill: it is better to have it plugged in. It is three times more powerful than the cordless version and it never runs out or power.
I have used it on dozens of hard-to-do jobs from cutting metal parts onsite to relief cutting crown molding. I haven't had an opportunity to use all of the attachments but I can tell you that it has quickly become my "MacGyver" tool.

After years of thinking about getting a Fein, I had to make a vertical cut 10' tall to trim off shingles around a deck. I decided to pick up one of these and now I wish I had made the decision years ago. At a fraction of the cost of the Fein, I find it hard to imagine how it could be that much better than the Bosch.
Now that I have one, I find myself reaching for it more and more often.

Well built, not as loud as others, and plenty of power! High end storage case with small assortment of bits included. Add all of this together with a great price = The tool for all those jobs where you wish there was a better way.

I find myself using it more often than planned. Low vibration and a compact size make this thing great to use when I need to remove grout/tiles or make precise cuts. Wish I would have had it a long time ago!
