I needed a tool to chip thin set mortar and do minor demolition.This tool is not quite heavy enough for everything I needed done. It is a little slow at tile demolition , but it does a good job not damaging underlayment and,
you keep the blades sharp it keeps on going. You need to let the tool cool down after a short while of chipping, (that is when you sharpen blade with grinder). I am going to let a freind try it out for installing TAPCONS and drilling in concrete.

I have gotten a lot of tools from this site and have never been let down. This toy is spotless. I have popped a few holes in concrete at home like butter. The big test will come when I put a sewer line in the basement floor this summer and need to take care of removing the concrete.

After much research I decided to purchase the BOSCH, RH328VC-RT. So far I have done numerous anchor holes. I did a couple of 4" holes in solid 8" concrete walls using a 1/2" diameter 10" long bit and a ¾" chisel bit. It took about 45 minutes each. At this point I have to give it a 5 star rating.
