Calibration, batteries and maintenance are the responsibility of the user. Where permitted by law, CST/berger is not responsible for incidental or consequential damage beyond normal wear. This includes, but not limited to: dropped instruments (paint damaged; broken compensator wires; broken eyepiece and/or crosshairs), instruments that show signs of severe water damage, broken or bent hardware.
Agents of CST/berger cannot change this warranty. CST/berger is not responsible for damage resulting from wear, abuse, or alteration of this product. The user is expected to follow ALL operating instructions.
This warranty may provide you with additional rights that vary by state, province or nation.

I purchased this laser to level foundations for a block fencing project and other DIY projects. I didn't want to pay someone else to do it. After researching several different lasers, I settled on this package mainly due to the features and price. Especially with everything that is included. It is very easy to set up and operate. Having used it now on a couple of projects, I have no complaints. We will have to wait until a lot more use to see how well it holds up. The only negative (if you can call it that) is that it does not come with a case for the the grade rod and tripod. A case for these would make storage and transportation much easier and safer.

I love this laser, I dont like "self leveling" lasers (I fix old houses, some as old as 1740, including my own house built 1742) These houses are NEVER level or straight, but when I remodel I can level things to match the floor and ceilings. Also great for cutting carpet, plumbing, great for drywall and of coarse any digging you do. I can find a reason to use this almost every day. I think the only thing I could say is a bit frustrating would be the tripod set-up. It is a bit cumbersome setting up the legs and can get a bit frustrating when trying to set up on an uneven area.
