This is easily the best tool in my truck. It will drive a 3" drywall screw right through a 2x4 if you're not careful. It is small and light enough to use for installing cabinets, but tough enough for virtually anything you put before it. This is especially a great tool for metal building screws or tapcons. I have had mine now for over 2 years and it has not missed a beat. Battery life is excellent, longer than any other Bosch tool I own. Buy this and you will not be disappointed.

Bought this combo in 2008 and the batteries are still going good .Love the impactor, bought it with the bonus compact drill driver plus two batteries and the charger, also the carry bag, could not be happier, I have the 18 volt series of tool kit with the heavier hammer drill, works great but very happy to have bought the combo with the drill driver compact and the impactor is very power full, a must have to build decks /basement and what ever you find to use it on.

I am a remodeling contractor who uses this tool on a daily basis. I bought this tool partly to get two additional batteries for the bosch battery tools i already own. The impact driver is fantastic. Driving screws with cordless drills is a thing of the past, once you have an impact driver. I sank 5" X 5/16 LedgerLok screws for a deck ledger no problem.
