    Comments about 18-Gauge 2 in. Brad Nailer:

    This is my first nailer and was not sure what guage would be best but I think for a starter gun it was the right choice. I have used the nailer for about two weeks and so far it has performed as advertised; it is powerful and easy to load, it feels well made. The nails (usually 1 1/2 to 2 inches) will go countersink with the right pressure but you may need to adjust depending on the wood. Also, I found that I needed to hold the gun firmly in place if not the nail would not fully set, when that happens I sometimes see around an 1/8 of an inch but this is quickly remedied by holding the gun firm. Overall, CPO delivered the unit in a few days and it arrived in good shape (box). This is my first nailer and I was not sure what guage would be best but I think for a starter gun it was the right choice. So far no issues, I have really enjoyed experimenting with it. I have built a few items with no jams, this nailer will soon take on more projects, I will have another review then.

    Comments about 18-Gauge 2 in. Brad Nailer:

    I was excited about the possibilities of these new nailers so I bought both the 18 and 16 gauge nailers. Neither is capable of sinking nails completely. I tried increasing the air pressure to nearly 120 psi, tried different compressors and even switched hoses. Thanks goodness I tested them before using them on finished work! I am so disappointed with both purchases and can't believe unproven and unreliable technology is being released. Frustrated to have to send both back. Buy another brand.

      Comments about 18-Gauge 2 in. Brad Nailer:

      Once again Bosh doesn't let me down on quality. I am a homeowner that repairs and make my own wood products. I stay with buying Bosch products because I have yet to turn one in for repairs. I have a lot of Bosch tools too. I hope too never have to replace them.

        New Vs. Reconditioned

        Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

        • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
        • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the accessories or consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
        • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by CPO’s Money Back Guarantee;
          New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
