I bought mine reconditioned and mostly it works great. But for some reason, when the temperature drops below 40F, the radio/cd/music function stops working. It charges the battery and works fine as a gfci, but no sound. If it's above freezing and I plug it in, eventually the sound will come back. But below 32F, the radio/cd/music functions never work on mine. As I live and work in Alaska, it tends to be a shop box only.

I bought this radio because all of my power tools are Bosch. The only tools I have that it wont charge are the 12V Litheon Hand driver and Impact. I can see where the battery charging base would fit inside the existing bay, but maybe I ask too much, lol...

great radio...all the guys got excited when i pulled this out.....great sound and love the 4GFCI plugs...the cord to plug it in is twice the size of a ridgid job site radio...the only thing i dont like is the CD drawer is a little jerky when it come out..[...]...could not pass it up...thanks Bosch.... ps i saw a Bosch rep throw it off the second floor of a job site 12 feet to the ground and pluged it in and the cd player and radio worked fine...so i knew it was a matter of time til i got one

Spec says: "Charges 12V - 24V Bosch batteries - BAT025, BAT026, BAT040, BAT043, BAT045, BAT030, BAT031, BAT120, BAT140, BAT180, BAT181, BAT240"
But manual sys: "Charge only Bosch batteries BAT025-BAT045. Other batteries may burst causing injury and damage."
Does anyone have an explanation?

I bought this with the intention it would serve as the battery charger for the 12v tools I use repairing/upgrading boats. It however, does not charge the Bosch BAT411A battery.
Still a nice unit overall. It has found a home in the workshop. Sounds awesome, great reception, impressive looks.

I use at bbq's and outside party's it is a great tool. Great sound plus extra 110 outlets (gfci.)
