This is an upgrade from a 6.5 amp Craftsman I've owned for the past several years. This is a bulkier and heavier tool but it kicks the old saw's butt. Works wonders on tearing old decks apart - no problem cutting through two bys, bolts and 4X4's.
I've never had a problem buying recons from CPO and this looks like no exception.

Very powerful tool!! First use was cutting out 1/8 inch metal from around window frames,I was pleased with how easy it was with this tool. The easy change blade is a great feature as well as the saw hook. A great tool for the money.

Great saw. the rafter hooks on Bosch tools are a life saver. I was just up setting rafters, and what a convenience it is on the sawzaw and the circular saw to have hooks to hang from, no more worrying about where you're going to set them.
the new chuck design is great and easy to install a blade. just pop a new on in, then turn to let it out.
the thing got some power, its a little bigger and heavier than most saw's i've used, but hey, go big or go home.
if you like bosch tool, this is one to add to you're collection
