Rolatape Corporation has a 3-year warranty on all Measure Master units and a 5-year warranty on all Rolatape units effective from the date of purchase of the end user. Our guarantee reads as follows:
This measuring wheel is guaranteed to be free from defective material and workmanship for a period of three years from date of purchase. If found defective and returned prepaid, it will be repaired or replaced at our discretion without charge. Warranty is voided if the measuring wheel counter has been taken apart, damaged, oiled or used improperly and thus cannot be repaired or replaced at no charge. Please note: due to wheel slippage on nap, wheels should only be used as estimating tools for carpet.
In addition, Rolatape measuring wheels are designed and constructed to operate at "Walking Speed." Any speed faster than this can give inaccurate measurements and may damage the internal mechanism, thus voiding the warranty. Be sure you thoroughly understand the instructions for the Rolatape model that you have purchased.
If returning a unit for repair, please call Customer Service 800-435-1859 for a Return Authorization Number prior to shipping the product back to Rolatape. ROLATAPE DOES NOT ISSUE CREDIT. Units or parts should be sent to the factory with the following information written on your paperwork within the box: Name, day time phone number, mailing address (No P.O. Boxes), date of purchase (include proof of purchase if available), explanation as to exactly what is wrong, and the Return Authorization Number (issued by Customer Service).
Turn around time for a repair is approximately seven (7) business days from receipt. This does not include shipping time to Spokane or return shipping time to customer.
Replacement parts for non-warranty units are available from Rolatape Corporation and Rolatape dealers/distributors.
