This is a very powerful saw and I have had a little trouble controlling it. Some speed control would be nice. I also found the grip a little awkward. I think I will be using my Rotozip tool with the blade attachment more simply because of the speed control.

Used the supplied diamond blade to cut a couple of pieces of 3/4" thick sandstone. Used the supplied wood blade to cut out one piece from a 4x8 sheet of heavy duty treated pine lattice. Both were junk, ready to throw away after this mild use. I can't afford to run this saw; it will just gather dust from now on. Have you seen what these blades cost?

The saw is powerful but hard to hold and cut a strait line, there is no depth adjustment so it will only cut to the blade diameter, which limits its versatility.

As a knife maker, I bought this saw so that I can easily cut out knife handle materials such as hardwood, micarta, and bone. This saves set up of bandsaw and/or table saw ( I have limited space in my shop). Used for this purpose, this product works well for straight cuts. Being able to rotate the head to cut left-handed is the reason I chose this over the new Dremel circular zip saw. Dremel has a better variety of blades and I like the Dremel depth adustment better than the Roto Zip. I'll know more after I use this saw for a few months.

Well balanced and powerful
I used it to remove grout on my 30 year old tile.
I Zipped right through.
I needed a tool that would widen the group gap. The tile had been laid too close together to accept future grout as the old grout deterized.
Just the tool.
It made easy work on both the grout and the cermaic tile allowing me to increase the gap to about 3/16 of an inch.
